Jamie graduated from Florida State University with a Philosophy degree, then moved to California to attend law school in San Diego at California Western School of Law, where she was a member of the Entertainment Law Society, Law Revue Theatre and Real Estate Law Society. After achieving her Juris Doctor, she passed the California Bar and worked in Hollywood for Warner Music Group licensing and transacting music law.
An entrepreneur at heart, she began a Partnership with her father, and flipped 9 Los Angeles properties, attending auctions, checking titles, managing property improvements, and handling the legalities and marketing of property sales.
She married and continued her love for entrepreneurship by moving to Costa Rica, where she and her husband built a hotel and international travel company from scratch, and ran the business successfully for 5 years. Missing law, and with two new toddlers, she returned to California and returned to a law career in Family Law. She did an extensive internship with a prominent Family Court judge, whereby she mediated over 200 cases with a 90% success rate. She also volunteered at the Family Law Self Help Center advising, assisting pro per litigants with their cases.
Her ability to listen to clients’ individual needs, coupled with her background in real estate and transactional law, make her a unique, in-demand attorney. A passionate advocate for her clients, she adamantly exercises the ability to creativity settle difficult cases.
Jamie enjoys rollerblading, snowboarding, yoga, and traveling. Jamie’s two young children of her own, and her passion for child development and welfare, enhance her ability to handle delicate custody matters.
